Jacek Sztuka

Studied at the Department of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (1996-2001), in Prof. Jacek Waltoś studio as well as in the drawing studio of Prof. Teresa Kotkowska-Rzepecka. He travelled for a scholarship at the Akademie der Bildende Künste at Nuremberg, joining the painting studio of Prof. Johannes Grützke in 1999/2000.

 

He graduated from the School of Pedagogy in 2000, his diploma work done under supervision of Prof. Adam Brincken in 2000. In 2001, he received his cum laude diploma from the atelier of Prof. Stanisław Rodziński. Since 2004, he has worked at the Department of Management of the Częstochowa University of Technology. He received his doctorate from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in 2006. He received his postdoctoral degree from his alma mater in 2012. He is a member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers. His works can be seen in Polish museum collections, as well as in private collections in Poland and abroad.


He has participated in more than 50 joint exhibitions in Poland and abroad, as well as 18 solo exhibitions.
